Glock Reviews - So you thought you were going to make some rambling political speech about the stupidity of red laws and such? Maybe later. Now, let's do a review of a rare gun - this time the GLOCK 45 9mm pistol!
I'm not much of a GLOCK guy to be honest. Not because I don't like the brand (I like GLOCK), but I don't have many of them. It's actually a number between 0 and 4. Oh, and a t-shirt. I went the other way with my weapon. However, a trusted friend recommended me the GLOCK 45, and now I really have no choice but to borrow it and give it a shot.
Glock Reviews
For those who don't know, the name GLOCK comes from a small order. I say "somewhat" because I skip numbers (where's the GLOCK 44?) sometimes. The numbers correspond to the order in which the patents were designed/published. Gaston's first gun (link to book) was the GLOCK 17 9mm pistol. It was his 17th patent, although it lasted 17 rounds. So, the GLOCK 45 is their 45th product design. In any case…
Glock Gen4 Review
The GLOCK 45 is considered the cousin of the GLOCK 19x. In addition to being basic, ugly, black but not time, the GLOCK 45 sports an exploded magwell, front serrations, the new generation Marksman barrel, and all the internal features of the Gen5 GLOCK pistol. Like the G19x, the GLOCK 45 is a "crossover" pistol, combining a compact slide with a full frame. You get a shorter sight radius (the distance between the front and rear sights) for faster aiming and also the larger frame offsets some of the recoil. To be honest, the crossover looks a little goofy to me, but it works, I can see the benefits. Many of these features are the result of GLOCK consulting with law enforcement customers, so we may soon see this pistol in law enforcement agencies across the country.
Since the GLOCK 45 was not a loaner from GLOCK or purchased by me, I had limited time to do a proper test. Normally I'd go down to the Henry's Range where the bus doesn't run, but the weather and timing ruled that out. So, I went to the nearby Florida Gun Center in Hialeah. The inner part, sure, but for basic testing, it's enough.
My scientific testing protocol involved the GLOCK 45 pistol, three included factory GLOCK magazines, and 200 rounds of Winchester 124gr 9mm NATO ammunition. According to the owner of this gun, there were about 500 guns in the gun, and there was a problem with it. However, I thought 200 rounds on top of that would release something, if anything.
Some of the more astute readers may have noticed that I chose to use 9mm NATO ammo in this case. So what is 9mm NATO, and how is it different from the "standard" 9mm?
Glock 36 Review: Concealed Carry With Maximum Stopping Power
The 9mm NATO is an "over pressure" variant of the 9mm Luger. Basically, it runs at 36,500 PSI, versus 34,100 PSI. You get a little more "oomph", especially from the shorter barrel, and yes, there is less recoil. It is the same military standard as the 9mm +P (see my pistol ammo primer for info on that), which is what I carry every day. That being said, the 9mm will hit your gun more, but most modern handguns will take it down.
I was looking for two things - a simulation of carrying ammo, and also the added stress of seeing if something would happen.
Before going to the range, I checked the ergonomics of the GLOCK 45 with dry fire practice and so on at home. I found the pistol to be very well balanced. Having a full size outlet is very helpful. You don't realize how heavy the pistol is at first. The lack of fingers is noticeable but not worth looking at. The front serrations are found to be useful for mounting the slide, in other ways. I did a mag change as soon as possible, and added the magwell's little "race" feature. The compact slide and barrel make carrying more comfortable. One thing to note is that the GLOCK 45 will fit most G19x holsters.
I didn't expect anything bad about the GLOCK 45 in the range. GLOCK may have a bit of a fanboy culture around it, but that doesn't mean it's an inferior gun. GLOCK is trusted by professionals around the world, and for good reason. They are working. More reliable and accurate than most head shooters, they just work. And go. And go.
A Review Of The Glock 45 9mm Pistol
The GLOCK 45 was no exception. I had never shot a pistol before, and I enjoyed shooting it. Obviously more accurate than I am, and it shows my slight obsession with "lobster" pistols. Lobstering is basically when the shooter's grip becomes tighter when pulling the trigger. The proper technique is to hold steady and firmly and only use your fingers. Lobsters close their mouths when they catch something. We are not lobsters.
The gun held up well and was fun to shoot. There is no failure in anything, in any newspaper. It continued.
Since this is not a gun, I thought the owner would do the hard work and clean it up before returning it. Takedown is a breeze, although you have to squeeze the trigger to disengage the weapon. I think it's a problem, but the GLOCK isn't for a reason. ah if so Reassembly is a piece of cake, you can put the gun back together in about 20 seconds.
Without reservation, I can recommend this rifle as a first rifle, or as a rifle for the experienced shooter. Beginners (with proper instruction) will love the forgiving nature and flat shooting with amazing ergonomics. You're looking for a comfortable gun. Experienced shooters will appreciate the increased accuracy of the Marksman barrel and the benefits of the crossover concept. This is a solid gun whether you are a professional user looking for a new duty gun, or a regular guy/gal looking for something for self defense.

The Glock 19 Review: What you need to know - The Glock 19 is known for its polymer and metal casing, its mystical reliability and concealability. It is one of the best concealable pistols and has become popular with the public. But is this gun for you? I have shot countless guns from countless gunsmiths and decided it was time to officially review the Glock 19.
The Glock 19 has a popular square shape, with a lower frame made of durable polymer and steel. With the exception of the Glock 44, I have never seen such a crack in a Glock frame and that was a relief for me as I was used to the light nature of my 19's.
The internal metal, slide, and barrel are made of treated steel, like most modern pistols. Now, while HK pioneered the polymer pistol system, Glock perfected and popularized it.
Glock 44 Review
The polymer frame design has been proven for decades to be tough and reliable and the Glock 19 carries on the tradition. You will find that the Glock 19 is very difficult to damage in any meaningful way.
The Glock 19 is also very compact with no fancy features or external safety getting in the way. Some new shooters may be a little put off by the lack of an external safety system, but as you get more comfortable with the gun, you'll realize that your biggest safety mechanism is your mind and your hands.
The compact design keeps the weight down a bit and lowers its profile making it better for concealment which is one of the reasons why this pistol is one of the most popular handguns in the world. As a bonus, Glocks are almost infinitely customizable, both for aesthetics and competition mode.
The Glock 19 is a very good weapon to be honest, but there is some variation when it comes to nail shots, especially at 25 yards.
Gun Reviews By Women
The accuracy is usable in most situations and the standard deviation does not prevent it from being a standard/competition weapon, weapon, or carry gun. I'm no Jerry Miculek, but my rounds landed where I wanted them to be less than 25 yards, still within an inch. You can count on the Glock 19 for its accuracy, but it's not the best in the world.
Normally, magazines are not something I stress about, but when it comes to compact pistols,
